RE:  Test Results.

Dear loved ones,

We heard back from our neurologist, Dr. Saunder Bernes, yesterday.  Thank God it was mostly good news:

bulletThe abdominal ultrasound showed no bladder diverticula!
bulletThe MRA of his brain's blood vessels showed no aneurisms or other problems!
bulletThe MRI showed mostly good news.  Thankfully, the large white matter on the right hemisphere has not changed much.  Thankfully, many of the other "spaces" (don't ask me for more details, because I still don't know what these are) on the right hemisphere are resolved, meaning that they've gone away!  However, some of those "spaces" are now showing up to a lesser degree on the left hemisphere.

Based on these good reports, it doesn't sound like much will change right now.

We will, however, be increasing his medication (as discussed in our August 8th blog) each week until the "startling"/mini-seizure episodes cease.  Hopefully they will be taken care of easily.

Blessings,
Anthony, Katherine, Jack and the pups (Sophie, Bailey & Pecas)
